01. The Naturist Beach
The naturist beach is the centre of daytime life in Cap. Stretching for more than two kilometres, it's where people spend their mornings and afternoons swimming, sunbathing, chatting and enjoying the Mediterranean sunshine. Despite Cap's reputation, most of the beach feels relaxed and very much like any other naturist beach.
Family Naturist or Lifestyle?
The main beach closest to the Village Naturiste is used by a mix of naturists, couples, singles, and holidaymakers. It's perfectly normal to see families, groups of friends and other people enjoying a day by the sea. The atmosphere is relaxed, social and surprisingly ordinary.
If you walk along the shoreline for around 15 minutes, heading away from the village, you'll eventually reach the part of the beach that's better known within the swinging community. Families largely disappear, and it's well understood that some couples have sex in this area, in view of anyone nearby who wants to watch. Others flirt, socialise or enjoy the freedom without taking things further. Plenty of people just walk through and watch the world go by.
The Reality of the Lifestyle Beach
Like many swingers destinations, this more adventurous part of the beach attracts single men as well as couples. If a couple becomes intimate, it's common for people (mostly single men) nearby to notice and gather. On land, that might mean a small crowd forming. In the sea, it can look like an Olympic swimming race, with every man in the water heading over for a closer look.
Some couples enjoy that attention, while others prefer the quieter atmosphere of the main naturist beach. The nice thing about Cap is that you can choose whichever environment feels right for you.
Beach Etiquette
One thing that often surprises first-time visitors is how seriously many people take naturism. Walking along the beach fully clothed, particularly on the main naturist section, tends to stand out far more than being naked. You don't have to strip off the moment you arrive, but most visitors quickly find themselves embracing the naturist atmosphere and feeling perfectly comfortable without clothes.

02. Beyond the Beach
Although the naturist beach is the centre of daytime life, many people spend at least one or two afternoons exploring some of Cap's other lifestyle venues. Whether you fancy relaxing by a pool with a cocktail, visiting a sauna club, or joining a lively foam party, there are plenty of alternatives to a day on the sand.
Pool Clubs & Day Passes
Some of the village's best-known swingers hotels, including Le Jardin de Babylone and Le Jardin d'Eden, allow non-residents to buy day passes. Spend the afternoon beside the pool, enjoy lunch or cocktails, meet other people and enjoy the sexy atmosphere without booking a room. Many people stay on into the early evening before heading out for dinner and drinks, making it a relaxed way to ease into Cap's nightlife.
The Famous Foam Party
The daily foam party at Le Glamour has become one of Cap's signature daytime events. Loud music, DJs, dancing and mountains of foam create a lively atmosphere that's as much about fun and socialising as it is about swinging. It's one of those experiences that's worth doing at least once during your stay.
Daytime Lifestyle Venues
You'll also find a handful of dedicated day clubs and wellness venues around the village where you can spend the afternoon by the pool, listen to music, enjoy a drink or simply meet other people. Some are relaxed and social, while others are much more lifestyle-focused. Part of the fun is discovering which atmosphere suits you best.
03. More Than Just the Beach
One of the reasons people happily spend a week or two in Cap is that every day can be different. Some mornings begin with coffee on the balcony before heading to the beach. Other days turn into long lunches, an afternoon by the pool, shopping around the village or watching the world go by from a café terrace.

Lunch Becomes an Event
Unlike many beach destinations, lunch in Cap isn't something to rush through. People often meet friends, choose a restaurant overlooking the sea or the marina, and spend two or three hours eating, drinking and enjoying the atmosphere. Only then do they decide what the rest of the afternoon might bring.
The Village Is Part of the Holiday
The Village Naturiste is surprisingly compact, making it easy to explore on foot. Wander through the boutiques, browse the beachwear shops, lingerie shops, stop for an ice cream or just enjoy seeing the mix of people who return every summer. The village itself is one of Cap's biggest attractions.
No Two Days Are Ever the Same
Some afternoons end with a quiet walk back to your apartment before aperitif time beckons. Others drift into cocktails by the pool, a foam party or meeting other people for a drink before dinner. From there, many evenings naturally continue in the village bars before moving on to the clubs later at night. That's one of the joys of Cap. There isn't an itinerary to follow, you can just let the day unfold.
04. People Watching Is Part of the Experience
One of the unexpected pleasures of Cap is sitting with a coffee or a cold drink and watching the world go by. Throughout the day, you'll see every age, body shape, nationality and personality imaginable, all sharing the same relaxed atmosphere. It's a reminder that the village isn't about looking a certain way. It's about feeling comfortable enough to be yourself.
As the afternoon turns into early evening, the transformation begins. Beach towels disappear, apartments come alive, and people start getting ready for the night ahead. It's one of our favourite times of day because you can literally watch the village preparing for the night ahead.
Our Cap Evenings guide picks up the story from here. Elegant dresses, daring outfits, leather, lace and costumes begin to appear alongside shorts and summer shirts. One couple might be heading for a quiet dinner, another for a private party, while others are enjoying the chance to dress in a way they never would at home.

If you're new to Cap, don't worry about fitting in. Nobody expects you to look a certain way or behave in a particular way. After a day or two, you'll realise that everyone is simply enjoying their holiday, and that's exactly what makes the atmosphere so relaxed.
05. A Few Things Worth Knowing
The sun is stronger than you think
Bring plenty of sunscreen, drink lots of water and don't underestimate how hot the beach can become in the middle of the day.
Flip-flops are essential
The sand gets incredibly hot, and you'll probably spend much of the day walking between the beach, cafés and village.
Always carry a small towel
Whether you're sitting on the beach, a sun lounger or a chair in a café, carrying a towel is part of normal naturist etiquette.
Respect people's privacy
Photography is generally discouraged around the village and beach. One of the reasons Cap works so well is that visitors feel comfortable relaxing without worrying about cameras.
You don't have to do everything
Some people spend every afternoon on the beach. Others never leave the pool clubs. Some explore the lifestyle, while many just enjoy the freedom and atmosphere. There isn't a "correct" way to experience Cap.
Don't Expect To Meet Everyone
Cap is a sociable place, but most people spend the day with their own partner or friends. A smile or a quick chat is always welcome, but the longer conversations often happen later in the bars or after you've already made contact online.
06. Our Favourite Daytime Experiences
If you're visiting Cap for the first time, these are the daytime experiences we'd make time for.

Spend your first morning on the main naturist beach
There's no better way to settle into the relaxed atmosphere and discover that Cap is far less intimidating than many people imagine.

Enjoy a long lunch with no plans afterwards
One of the real pleasures of Cap is taking your time. Find a restaurant you like, order another bottle of rosé and let the afternoon unfold naturally.

Try a pool club for an afternoon
Whether you choose one of the swingers hotels offering day passes or another pool venue, it's a completely different atmosphere from the beach and well worth experiencing.

Visit the Le Glamour foam party
Even if you only stay for an hour, it's one of Cap's iconic summer experiences and gives you a taste of the fun, social side of the village.

Walk the length of the beach
The atmosphere changes as you move further from the village, giving you a fascinating insight into the different sides of Cap and helping you decide which areas suit you best.

Finish the afternoon with a drink and watch the village come alive
As people return from the beach and start getting ready for the evening, you can almost feel the atmosphere changing. It's one of our favourite moments of the day and the perfect introduction to Cap's nightlife.
